SWABI, August 16: Three people have been killed and four injured over repair issue of an electricity transformer in Swabi district, the police say.
Two groups, who were relatives, were collecting donation for repair of the electric transformer in Yar Hussain village when they started quarrelling and opened fire on each other. The police say Mr Kernail from one group and Mr Allama Iqbal and Mr Khiyalun from the other party died.
Four people including a woman and two children were injured in the exchange of fire. The victims were taken to hospitals in Yar Hussain and Mardan district.
