PESHAWAR, July 14: Three more polio cases have been reported from the FATA region, raising the number of polio cases this year to 91 in the country.
According to the Prime Minister Polio Control Cell, all the three fresh polio cases were reported from Khyber Agency.
Three-year-old Sumbal of Akkakhel area of Bara tehsil, one-year-old Simran of Shahdaly and 30-month-old Ibrahim of Kunday Mirankhel area were confirmed as polio victims.
Two months ago, a polio vaccination campaign was carried out in Bara tehsil after five years gap.
