TANK, May 24: The Anti-Corruption Department of Tank district has arrested three officials of the Finance Department over corruption charges.
The Anti-Corruption Circle Officer of Tank, Mr Shah Nawaz Khan, said that Tehsildar Shah Behram, Qanungo Bashir Marwat, and Patwari Nozi had been accused of showing little prices for government lands in documentations, causing huge loss to the department.
He added that another official of the Finance Department was also involved in the scam and that raids were being conducted to arrest him.
