DERA ISMAIL KHAN, August 4: A bomb blast killed three people, including a Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf leader Mr Faqeer Jamshed, in DI Khan district.
The police say Mr Jamshed was travelling on Kulachi Mudhi Road to DI Khan market at morning when a roadside remote-controlled bomb exploded, leaving Mr Jamshed and two other people dead. The vehicle they were traveling in was also destroyed.
Bomb blasts have claimed several lives in FATA region and its adjacent areas in Pakistan. DI Khan is also located close to the tribal region.
