KOHAT, August 23: Three picnickers drowned while swimming in a stream in Kohat district, the police say.
The incident took place in Tolai Banda area where Mr Umair, Mr Jihad and Mr Owais, residents of Zangal Khel area, had gathered for picnic.
All the three drowned when they jumped into water. The police say one of the bodies has been recovered while search for the others is under way.
10 injured in Hangu: Meanwhile, a traffic incident left 10 people injured in Hangu.
The police say a passenger coach travelling from Tal to Parachinar collided with a tree to avoid hitting a speeding motorcycle in Baggan area. Ten people, including the motorcyclists, were injured in the incident.
