BARA, June 21: Three suspected militants were killed and six injured as jet fighters targeted various locations in Khyber Agency, officials say.
The fighter jets destroyed a militant hideout in Malakdinkhel area of Bara.
They said the militants had occupied a state-run school in Malakdinkhel, which was targeted by the gunship helicopters in an attempt to destroy it. However, independent sources did not confirm the information about those killed and injured.
Meanwhile, the military operation is under way in North Waziristan where security sources claimed to have killed more than 200 militants.
