In a tragic incident rooted in personal enmity, three young women were shot dead in the Rammak area of Dera Ismail Khan. The assailants managed to flee the scene after the deadly attack.
According to sources, the suspects stormed into the victims’ residence and opened indiscriminate fire, killing all three women on the spot. Upon receiving information, Station House Officer (SHO) Muhammad Ali Khan reached the scene with a heavy police contingent and shifted the bodies to the hospital.
Police officials stated that the victims were aged between 16 and 20 years, and initial investigations suggest the incident is linked to an old family feud. Authorities believe the motive may be connected to a previous murder — allegedly of the victims’ sister-in-law — which had heightened tensions between the rival parties.
A police spokesperson confirmed that a preliminary report has been registered, naming three suspects in the case. Seven spent bullet casings were recovered from the crime scene. Investigations are ongoing, and police teams are working to apprehend the culprits.
