Khyber District: Security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Tirah Valley on January 17, neutralizing five militants, including a notorious commander.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation targeted militant hideouts in Tirah, resulting in the elimination of five militants.
Among the deceased was the leader, Abidullah alias "Turab." Additionally, one militant was apprehended during the operation, and a cache of weapons and ammunition was recovered.

The militants were reportedly involved in numerous terrorist attacks against security forces and the killing of innocent civilians in the region.
ISPR further stated that a search operation is ongoing to ensure the area is cleared of any remaining militant presence. Pakistan's security forces remain resolute in their mission to eradicate the menace of terrorism.
