Torrential Rains in Shabqadar Lead to Tragic Roof Collapses

In the Shabqadar area of Charsadda, torrential rains have caused a devastating incident, resulting in the deaths of two people and injuries to ten others as the roofs of houses collapsed. According to a report by the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), two homes were partially damaged due to the heavy rains.

Among the victims were a woman and a young man, whose lives were tragically cut short by the collapse. The injured individuals have been promptly shifted to THQ Hospital Shabqadar for medical treatment.

In response to this unfortunate event, the government has announced financial assistance for the families of the deceased, aiming to provide some relief during this difficult time.

Meanwhile, the meteorological department has forecasted that the weather will be partly cloudy in most districts of the province, suggesting a potential respite from further heavy rainfall.
