PESHAWAR, 11 July: Directives of the Peshawar district administration regarding ban on sale of toy-guns fell on deaf ears of traders, as their business still continues without any hindrance.
Residents of the provincial capital said that Peshawar Deputy Commissioner Riaz Mehsud imposed ban on sale of toy-guns a month ago. But despite that toy-guns are being sold in the city openly, which leave a negative impact on the minds of children. They urged the Peshawar district administration to implement the order of ban on toy-guns in the letter and spirit.
Meanwhile, Peshawar Assistant Commissioner Mumtaz Khan said that the district administration has constituted raiding teams and so far 12 people have been arrested for violating the ban.
