PESHAWAR, May 5: The Election Tribunal has ordered re-election in a Frontier Region constituency NA-47.
The Tribunal disqualified the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI)’s MNA Qaiser Jamal, elected from NA-47, Darra Adamkhel with 11,328 votes.
The Tribunal has announced its decision over a complaint filed by losing candidate Haji Abidur Rehman, who blamed Qaisar Jamal for rigging the election and said he had influenced the results at various many polling stations.
The Judge of Election Tribunal, Zahid Gillani, ordered re-election in the constituency after hearing arguments in the case.
