SWABI/DIR, July 17: Two children have been killed and five people injured in exchange of fire between two groups in Swabi district, while a child has died and three others injured when roof of their house collapsed in Upper Dir district.
The police say some children had quarreled over ownership of pigeons in Panjpir area of Swabi four days ago. On 16 July, both the parties exchanged fire, killing 5-year-old Musa and eight-year-old Shan on the spot. Five people, including three passers-by were injured in the incident.
In separate incident, roof of Abdul Karim’s house collapsed in Cotton Pine area of Upper Dir, leaving his daughter Shabina dead. Three other children were injured in the incident.
