BANNU, September 19: Unidentified gunmen shot dead two members of a family displaced from North Waziristan and currently staying in Bannu district, the police say.
Last night the family was traveling in a vehicle when they were ambushed in Janikhel Bacha area, killing Mr Lal Sarwa and a woman on the spot. Two children in the vehicle were injured in the firing.
The police say those killed and injured were relatives and that they were investigating whether the incident was a result of en enmity or some other factor.
