MINGORA, September 16: Another two members of a peace committee have been killed in Swat district, the police say.
Last night Mr Muhammad Zeb and Mr Farid Khan were going home after offering Isha prayers at a masjid when they were ambushed by unidentified gunmen.
Several members of the peace committees have been targeted recently in various areas. On 15 September, unknown gunmen shot dead a member of a peace committee, Mr Zahir Shah, in Kabal area of Swat at morning.
The government raised peace committees in various areas to fight militants in various areas of FATA region and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
