Two Police Officers Killed in Firing on Polio Team in Bajaur

Two local laborers were killed and several others injured when mortar shells were fired in the mountainous region of Angoor Adda, South Waziristan.

In Bajaur's Salarzai area, two police officers were shot dead while providing security to a polio vaccination team. 

According to initial reports, the victims were identified as 33-year-old Luqman and 25-year-old Abu Hurairah, both residents of Dara Salarzai.

Upon receiving the news, Rescue 1122's control room dispatched a medical team to the scene, and the bodies were transported to the Headquarters Hospital in Khar. Authorities have launched an investigation and are actively searching for the perpetrators.

South Waziristan: Two Laborers Killed, Several Injured in Mortar Attack

In a separate incident, two local laborers were killed and several others injured when mortar shells were fired in the mountainous region of Angoor Adda, South Waziristan.

According to sources, the victims and the injured belonged to the Gandikhel tribe. The mortar shells were fired from unknown directions.

Authorities have initiated an investigation into the incident.
