In Quetta's Kuchlak area, a bomb blast near a police mobile resulted in the martyrdom of two policemen, including an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI), while one officer sustained injuries.
According to police sources, the explosion severely damaged the police van. The incident occurred while the team from the New Kuchlak Police Station was on a routine patrol.

This attack comes just a day after a similar incident in Balochistan's Kalat district, where an IED explosion near a security forces' vehicle left eight personnel injured. Deputy Commissioner Kalat, Bilal Shabbir, confirmed that the roadside bomb detonated as the security vehicle passed by.
