MANSEHRA, May 21: Two students were injured in firing at a fair in Hazara University, Mansehra district, the police say.
A student was trying to enter the fair without ticket and also started fist fight with the security guard. Meanwhile, bullets were fired accidentally from the gun of the guard, injuring Mr Adil Shah and Mr Attaullah.
Later, the students staged protest and besides ransacking the administration block on campus, they also blocked the Karakoram Highway for some time. The demonstrators dispersed after the university administration suspended the security guard and handed him over to the police.
The administration also announced to close the university till Monday, 26 May.
