Five people were killed and four others injured in a firing incident between two groups in Malana area of Dera Ismail Khan.

According to Dera Ismail Khan DPO Ziauddin Ahmed, the incident occurred while the groups were returning after a volleyball match.

He said the injured had been shifted to the DHQ Teaching Hospital for treatment, while an investigation into the incident was underway.
