TANK, June 23: Patients are facing problems due to lack of water at the District Headquarters Hospital in Tank district.
Talking to TNN, attendants of patients complained of water shortage and insanitary conditions at the hospital.
The patients asked the government to solve the problems at the health facility which, they said, serves a population of about 500,000.
A senior doctor of the hospital, Dr Aslam Sherani told TNN that the hospital’s tube-well was out of order for the last several days and that they had asked the municipal committee authorities to repair it.
He also said there was shortage of staff for sanitation in the area.
