TIMERGARA, October 29: The Agriculture Department has directed farmers to collect wheat seeds from government godowns, where they will be given a subsidy of 200 rupees over every 50kg of the commodity.
The Director of Agriculture Department in Lower Dir, Mr Murad Ali, said the department had provided good quality seeds of about 3,000 maunds to farm services centres based in Chakdara, Khar, Bagh, Timargarah, Talash, Maidan, Manda and Samarbagh, and that the growers would find the commodity to be reasonable from market rates.
