A 44-year-old woman was killed and three young children, including a newborn, were seriously injured after the roof of a mud house collapsed in Mohalla Al-Kuwait in Badershi area of Nowshera.

According to Rescue 1122, the woman and her four young children were trapped under the debris after the roof collapsed. Rescue teams reached the scene after receiving information and launched a relief operation with the help of local residents.

Rescue personnel and local people cleared the debris and pulled the woman and children out. The 44-year-old mother died in the incident, while three of her children were injured.

Rescue 1122 said the injured children were identified as nine-month-old Malaika, four-year-old Fatima and two-year-old Musa. They were given first aid at the scene before being shifted to Qazi Hussain Medical Complex for further treatment.
