PESHAWAR, May 22: The first Youth Digital Summit of Pakistan has concluded in the provincial capital Peshawar.
A large number of youngsters were taught about information technology and doing business through internet at the event.
The two-day training was inaugurated and sponsored by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa IT Board, Peshawar 2.0, a non-government organisation, and the World Bank.
About 66 local and foreign experts imparted training to the participants about online business, freelancing and startups.
The sessions were held in a hostel, wherein 15 local companies displayed their soft wares and other technologies.
A member of Peshawar 2.0, Mr Aqeel, told TNN, “The main objective of this event was to educate youngsters about modern technologies. Our youth have creativity but they just need a platform and guidance and the Digital Youth Summit guided them.”
