The Peshawar Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE Peshawar) has announced the results of the 2026 Annual Matric Examinations, with thousands of students passing the Grade 9 and Grade 10 exams.

According to the board, 97,950 students appeared in the Grade 9 examinations, of whom 57,847 passed, while more than 40,000 students were not promoted to Grade 10. The overall pass percentage for Grade 9 stood at 59.06%.

In the Grade 10 examinations, 95,496 students appeared, with 66,988 declared successful, while 27,788 students failed. The overall pass percentage for Grade 10 was 70.15%.

In the Science Group, Umama Ali secured the first position with 1,182 marks. Syeda Atiqa stood second with 1,178 marks, while Hareem Khan secured the third position with 1,177 marks.

In the Arts Group, Muhammad Abu Zar topped the group with 1,088 marks. Saira Zafar secured second place with 1,074 marks, while Saif Hamdan finished third with 1,062 marks.

In the Special Children Category, Mahmood Ayaz claimed the first position with 1,060 marks. Rabia Bibi secured second place with 1,052 marks, while Muhammad Azan Khan came third with 1,051 marks.

The Peshawar Board congratulated all successful students and extended its best wishes for their bright future.
