Around 913 Pakistani students studying in Afghanistan have appealed to the Pakistan Embassy in Kabul to facilitate their return to Pakistan through the Torkham border crossing as soon as possible.

In a letter sent to the Pakistani Embassy, the students stated that summer vacations have begun at their universities, and they wish to return home to spend the break with their families.

The letter added that the Afghan Taliban authorities have already granted them permission to travel to Pakistan via the Torkham border, but they are now waiting for the necessary arrangements to be made by the Pakistani authorities.

According to the students, extending their stay in Afghanistan is causing them financial and travel-related difficulties. They also want to reunite with their families before the start of the new academic semester.

The students have urged the Pakistan Embassy in Kabul to take the necessary steps to ensure their early and safe return to Pakistan.
