Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trend, with the price of gold rising by thousands of rupees on Friday.

According to the Sarafa Market, the price of gold increased by Rs5,200 per tola, taking the price to Rs477,136 per tola.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs4,458 to Rs409,067.

The latest increase comes a day after gold prices surged by Rs13,700 per tola, while the price of 10 grams increased by Rs11,746.

The continued volatility in gold prices has made jewellery purchases more expensive. Gold prices in Pakistan are influenced by trends in the international market as well as fluctuations in the value of the Pakistani rupee.
