Chief Minister of Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has said that intelligence agencies carried out timely action, saving Pakistan from a major tragedy, and a female suicide bomber has been arrested from Balochistan.

During a press conference in Quetta, the arrested woman was also presented. The Chief Minister said that the woman was being used for planning a suicide attack and had been assigned a target in Islamabad, but security agencies foiled the plan through timely action.

He further stated that terrorists mislead or threaten women to use them for such attacks. The arrested woman was reportedly threatened that if she did not carry out the suicide attack, her father would be killed.
