Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir has said that the destiny of Balochistan lies solely in the hands of the people of Balochistan, and that attempts to destabilise the province will be thwarted through a strong and decisive response by the state.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Field Marshal Asim Munir met with prominent figures and political leadership from Balochistan.

Field Marshal Asim Munir said that the present and future of Balochistan and Pakistan are one and will always remain so. He described Balochistan as a province of talented, resilient, patriotic and dignified people, adding that its youth have immense potential and ample opportunities to move forward.

During the meeting, he said that Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan are groups being used, with foreign backing, to destabilise Balochistan. Their objective is to hinder the province’s development and create divisions between the state and the people.

He stressed the need to effectively counter enemy propaganda and expose false narratives, while highlighting the true potential, development and aspirations of Balochistan and its people.

Field Marshal Asim Munir said that the youth are the most dynamic and promising segment of society. He added that the state’s unwavering and decisive response would defeat malicious designs, while peace and stability would enable Balochistan to benefit from investment opportunities.
