The district administration of Bannu has announced that 201 Afghan nationals residing illegally in Pakistan have been repatriated to Afghanistan through the Torkham border after completing all legal formalities.
According to Additional Deputy Commissioner Bannu, Umar Khattab Groki, police data shows that a total of 201 undocumented Afghan nationals have so far been sent back to their home country as part of the ongoing operation against illegal foreign residents.
He said that the identities and records of all individuals were thoroughly verified and all legal requirements were fulfilled before they were repatriated through the Torkham border in accordance with the prescribed procedures.

The Additional Deputy Commissioner stated that the operation is being carried out under the federal and provincial governments' policy in coordination with the police and other relevant departments.
He added that the district administration receives operational data from the police.
He further said that action against undocumented foreign nationals will continue without discrimination in line with the government's policy.
