SWAT: At least seven tourists were killed after a boat capsized at Saifullah Lake in Kalam on Tuesday, according to Rescue 1122 Swat.

Rescue 1122 said its control room received an emergency call about the incident, following which rescue teams and ambulances were immediately dispatched to the site.

According to initial reports, the victims were tourists from Pakistan's Punjab province. Rescue personnel carried out emergency operations at the scene and recovered the bodies of all seven victims.

The bodies were shifted to Kalam Hospital by Rescue 1122 ambulances for further legal and medical procedures.

Rescue officials said further details about the incident are being gathered.
