In a fierce exchange of fire between security forces and terrorists in the North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Captain Muhammad Osama was tragically killed, while two terrorists were neutralized.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the soldiers effectively targeted the terrorists' hideout during the encounter, resulting in the elimination of two terrorists. Unfortunately, Captain Muhammad Osama, who was leading the operation, lost his life in the line of duty.

ISPR stated that an ongoing operation aims to eliminate the remaining terrorists in the area. The Pakistani security forces remain steadfast in their commitment to eradicating terrorism from the country. The sacrifices of brave men like Captain Osama only bolster our resolve to fight this menace.
Captain Muhammad Osama bin Arshad, aged 24, hailed from Rawalpindi district. He received his commission in the Pakistan Army in October 2020 and dedicated four years of service to defending the nation. He is survived by his father, mother, one brother, and four sisters.
