Peshawar: A cold and dry spell has gripped most parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with temperatures plunging to -6°C in the mountainous regions due to continuous snowfall.
According to the Meteorological Department, cold and dry weather is expected to persist across the province, while Swat, Shangla, Kohistan, Mansehra, Battagram, Torghar, and Bajaur may experience cloudy skies with chances of light rain and further snowfall in the highlands.

In the provincial capital Peshawar, the temperature was recorded at 6°C. Meanwhile, Kalam saw the mercury drop to -6°C, Malam Jabba recorded -2°C, and Upper Dir, Chitral, and Parachinar each experienced lows of -3°C.
