A ceremony was held in Bannu Cantt to distribute compensation cheques among the victims of the recent suicide bombing. The event was attended by Member of National Assembly (MNA) Maulana Naseem Ali Shah, Deputy Commissioner Bannu Abdul Hameed Khan, and other officials.
A total of Rs. 15 million was distributed among 12 martyrs' families and 40 injured individuals. The compensation breakdown was as follows:
Addressing the victims' families, MNA Maulana Naseem Ali Shah stated:
"We understand that no amount of money can heal your pain, but this is a message that the government stands with you. We are making every possible effort to support you."

Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Abdul Hameed Khan assured that a survey of damaged homes had been completed, and compensation for affected households would be provided soon.
Speakers at the event expressed sympathy and solidarity with the bereaved families and pledged to raise their voices for the victims’ rights on every platform. They also urged the government to enhance security measures to prevent such tragic incidents in the future.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by former local nazim Malik Abrar Khan, followed by a collective prayer for the martyrs and the swift recovery of the injured.
