Peshawar: A case has been registered against an officer of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Punjab for attempting to abduct a citizen in University Town.
According to the police, the CTD officers tried to kidnap a local contractor. However, the contractor's associates managed to capture the officers and handed them over to the police.

Details reveal that the detained CTD officer is from Faisalabad and attempted to abduct the contractor without informing the local police.
The police confirmed that an FIR was filed against the CTD officer, and an investigation was underway.
