Dera Ismail Khan: In a major counterterrorism operation, security forces killed nine terrorists, including a Taliban governor, during a search and strike operation in Tehsil Kulachi.
According to security sources, the operation was conducted in the Jahan Khani area based on intelligence reports about terrorist activities. Security forces raided a militant hideout, leading to an intense exchange of fire, in which all nine terrorists were eliminated, while security personnel remained unharmed.
Initial reports suggest that the neutralized militants were involved in multiple attacks against security forces and civilians in recent months. During the operation, weapons and other supplies were also recovered.

Residents appreciated the security forces' efforts, calling the operation a significant step toward restoring peace in the area. They urged military officials to continue such operations until terrorist elements are eliminated from the region.
A spokesperson for the security forces reaffirmed their commitment to eradicating terrorism, stating that operations will continue and any threats to national security will be crushed.
