Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf has announced that the registration process for Hajj 2027 officially begins today, and pilgrims will be able to register online from the comfort of their homes.

Speaking at a ceremony, the minister said that registration for Hajj 2027 will be completely free of charge and will be conducted on a "first come, first served" basis. He added that applicants must have passports valid until at least November 26, 2027.

According to Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, overseas Pakistanis will also be able to register online. After completing the registration process, applicants will have the option to choose either the government or private Hajj scheme.

The minister further stated that pilgrims expressed overall satisfaction with the arrangements made for the recent Hajj. He noted that the Road to Makkah Initiative was expanded this year to include Lahore, and nearly 80 percent of Pakistani pilgrims benefited from the facility.
