An Afghan transgender woman, Didar, also known as Haseena, who had been living in Pabbi, Nowshera, has relocated to Afghanistan along with her family.
According to family sources, they faced various difficulties and pressure while trying to leave Pakistan for Afghanistan.
Family sources said that Didar, also known as Haseena, had been living in Pabbi with her family after being deported from Islamabad last March.
They said that two of Didar’s brothers and an uncle were arrested by police last month and deported to Afghanistan through Torkham. Following their deportation, pressure on the family to move to Afghanistan also increased.

The family said that members of the transgender community in Peshawar, Nowshera and Swat also declined to provide Didar with a place to stay, after which the family decided to move to Afghanistan.
According to the family, Didar fears for her life after returning to Afghanistan. She also refused to appear on camera.
Family sources said that before leaving for Afghanistan, Didar cut her hair, a decision she later regretted and was deeply upset about.
Meanwhile, members of the transgender community contacted about Didar refused to provide information about her identity or her departure for Afghanistan.
