Five personnel were seriously injured after an Excise Police vehicle was involved in an accident near the Babozai-Katlang Interchange on the Swat Motorway in Mardan.

According to Rescue 1122, ambulances and medical teams reached the scene shortly after receiving information about the accident and provided first aid to the injured.

The injured personnel were shifted to a hospital after receiving initial medical treatment. According to preliminary information, the condition of two of the injured is reported to be critical.

The injured personnel have been identified as 50-year-old Eimal Badshah from Swat, 28-year-old Salman from Mardan, 33-year-old Fawad from Katlang, 28-year-old Waheed from Charsadda, and 26-year-old Bilal Ahmed from Mansehra.
