Gold prices have increased once again in both the local and international markets. After falling on Saturday, the price of gold per tola rose by Rs1,700 today.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Jewellers Association, the new price of one tola of gold has reached Rs428,436, while the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs1,457 to Rs367,314.

Silver prices also witnessed an increase. The price of one tola of silver went up by Rs54, reaching Rs6,291.

In the international market, the price of gold also moved higher, with gold per ounce increasing by $17 to $4,060.

It is worth noting that on Saturday, the local market had recorded a Rs3,700 decline in the price of gold per tola. However, the price rebounded just a day later.

Market experts say that if uncertainty in global financial markets continues, gold prices may rise further in the coming days, as investors increasingly view gold as a safe-haven asset during periods of economic instability, boosting both demand and prices.
