Gold prices have surged by thousands of rupees across Pakistan today.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola increased by Rs13,700, taking it to Rs471,936.

Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs11,746 to Rs404,609.

In the international market, gold prices also increased by $137, reaching $4,495 per ounce.
