Gold prices in Pakistan recorded a significant decline today, with the price of 24-karat gold per tola falling by Rs3,700 to Rs426,736.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 10 grams of gold also dropped by Rs3,202, bringing it down to Rs365,857. Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola decreased by Rs57 to Rs6,237.
Gold prices also fell in the international market, where the price of gold per ounce declined by $37, settling at $4,043.

According to bullion dealers, fluctuations in the international gold market have a direct impact on Pakistan's local market. They said that global economic uncertainty, monetary policies adopted by central banks, inflation, and rising demand for safe-haven investments are among the key factors driving changes in gold prices.
