Kohat Attack: Two CTD Officers Martyred in Terrorist Ambush Near Tanda Dam

The slain officers, Zahid and Mustafa, were on their way to duty when armed assailants targeted them.

Two Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) officers were martyred in a terrorist attack near Tanda Dam in Kohat. The slain officers, Zahid and Mustafa, were on their way to duty when armed assailants targeted them.

According to local sources, the terrorists monitored the officers’ movements before launching the attack. The assailants opened fire, critically injuring both officers, who later succumbed to their injuries.

The bodies of the fallen officers were shifted to DHQ Hospital for necessary formalities before being handed over to their families. They will be laid to rest with full state honors in their ancestral graveyards.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the attack, while a search operation is underway to apprehend the culprits behind this cowardly act of terrorism.
