The Special Assistant to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government on Home and Tribal Affairs chaired an important meeting regarding the repatriation of illegal foreign nationals. Officials from relevant departments briefed him in detail on the ongoing measures and the latest situation.
The meeting was informed that camps established for illegal foreign nationals are now operational only in Peshawar, Charsadda, Kohat, and Hangu. Participants were also updated on pending cases related to visas and stay permits.
The Special Assistant directed all Deputy Commissioners, the Special Branch, and police officials to further expedite the repatriation process and ensure its completion at the earliest. He issued special instructions to districts where camps are still functional, directing them to complete the process within the next 30 to 45 days and submit progress reports.

He emphasized that during the repatriation process, the dignity, human rights, and self-respect of all individuals must be fully protected. He also instructed officials to ensure the provision of all necessary facilities and support.
During the meeting, the Special Assistant directed the relevant authorities to accelerate actions against properties owned by illegal foreign nationals, adding that progress in this regard would be regularly reviewed.
He further stated that completing the repatriation process in an effective, organized, and transparent manner remains one of the government's key priorities. A follow-up meeting to review progress will be held after Muharram-ul-Haram.
