According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are expected to experience hot and dry weather over the next 24 hours, while plain areas are likely to remain extremely hot and humid.

The PMD said rain accompanied by gusty winds and thunderstorms is expected at isolated places in Upper and Lower Dir, Swat, Shangla, Malakand, Buner, Bajaur, Upper and Lower Kohistan, Kolai-Palas, Torghar, Battagram, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Orakzai, Kurram, and North and South Waziristan.
During the past 24 hours, hot and humid weather prevailed across most districts of the province, while light rain (drizzle) was recorded in Upper Dir.
