The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Development Authority (KPCTDA) has issued a weather alert for most districts of the province due to heavy rainfall, strong winds, and thunderstorms, warning of the risk of flash floods, overflowing streams and rivers, landslides, and travel disruptions.

According to the alert, the districts likely to be affected include Upper Chitral, Lower Chitral, Upper Dir, Lower Dir, Swat, Shangla, Buner, Malakand, Bajaur, Upper Kohistan, Lower Kohistan, Kolai-Palas, Battagram, Torghar, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Mardan, Swabi, Khyber, Mohmand, Peshawar, Charsadda, Nowshera, Kohat, Kurram, Hangu, Orakzai, Karak, Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Dera Ismail Khan, Tank, North Waziristan, and South Waziristan.

The authority has advised residents, tourists, and travelers to avoid unnecessary travel, closely monitor weather updates, and follow the instructions issued by the relevant authorities.
