Peshawar: Police have registered a case against a woman for allegedly throwing acid on a 26-year-old man and opening fire at him after he reportedly refused to marry her in the Chamkani area.

According to the FIR registered at Chamkani Police Station, the victim, identified as Sadiq Ullah, had a friendly relationship with the woman.

The FIR states that the woman allegedly threw acid at Sadiq Ullah after he refused her proposal for marriage.

The woman allegedly opened fire after the acid attack, according to the FIR. Police have launched an investigation into the incident and are collecting further evidence.
