The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has provided nearly Rs. 150 million to the Deputy Commissioner of Kurram to support those affected by recent unfortunate events in the district. Additionally, relief supplies for 1,000 families have been dispatched, including family-sized tents, bedding, mattresses, blankets, quilts, pillows, kitchen sets, mats, tarpaulins, and other essential items.
According to a statement from PDMA Director General Asfandyar Khattak's office, under the directives of Provincial Relief Advisor Haji Nek Muhammad Dawar, PDMA has also allocated Rs. 20 million and provided tents and supplies for 150 families to the Deputy Commissioner of Hangu, which are being distributed to the affected families.
DG PDMA Asfandyar Khattak stated that a survey report assessing the damage to homes and shops, either fully or partially destroyed, is in the final stages. Once completed, compensation will be disbursed without delay by provincial policy.

Responding to a query, he confirmed that cheques for the families of the deceased and injured are being prepared and will be distributed within the next couple of days.
He emphasized that PDMA remains committed to serving the public impartially and promptly in the face of any natural or human-induced calamity, with zero tolerance for negligence in this regard.
