A 15-year-old girl was gang-raped in Peshawar’s Badh Bir area, while it has also been revealed that the accused made a video of the incident for blackmail.

The police have registered a case under various sections of the Rape and Child Protection and Welfare Act and have started proceedings to arrest the accused.

A resident of Shahab Khel lodged a report with Badh Bir police station that his daughter is a student of a madrassa and was going to the madrassa as usual.

 On the way, the named accused Atif invited the girl to his house on the pretext of taking clothes, where Atif and his two other accomplices, Ahmed and Aqdari alias Sharifa, who were already there, gang-raped her and later recorded a video for blackmail.

According to the police report, the administration has been trying to record the statement of the regional elders who have been trying to get the two to agree. However, the police have started raiding various places to arrest the three criminals.
