More than 10 people, including women and children, were injured in an alleged drone strike in Shah Mat Khel, Hassan Khel, an area on the outskirts of Peshawar. Several of the injured are reported to be in critical condition and were immediately shifted to Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) for treatment.

According to sources, rescue operations began soon after the explosion, and the injured were evacuated from the scene and taken to nearby medical facilities. Those with critical injuries were later transferred to Lady Reading Hospital for advanced medical care.

A spokesperson for Lady Reading Hospital said that five injured individuals have so far been brought to the hospital, including three men and two women. The victims range in age from 15 to 80 years.

The spokesperson added that two people with minor injuries were discharged after receiving first aid, while three others remain under treatment.

Sources said that more than 10 people, including women and children, were injured in the incident. However, the authorities have not yet issued an official statement regarding the nature or cause of the alleged strike. Further investigations are underway.
