The results of the annual examinations conducted by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Peshawar have been officially announced.

According to the board administration, 52% of students passed the Intermediate Part-II annual examinations, while 48% failed.

A total of 66,735 students appeared in the Intermediate Part-II annual examinations. Of them, 35,103 passed, while 30,878 failed.

According to the board administration, 99.10% of students passed the Intermediate Part-I annual examinations.

A total of 63,605 students appeared in the Intermediate Part-I annual examinations, while 572 students remained absent.

Subject-wise results show that Pakistan Studies recorded the highest number of failures, with 21,457 students failing the subject. A total of 62,903 students appeared for the Pakistan Studies examination, of whom 41,446 passed and 21,457 failed. The pass percentage was 65.89%.

In Physics, 59,282 students appeared for the examination. Of them, 44,652 passed and 14,630 failed, with a pass percentage of 75.32%.

In Chemistry, 45,158 students appeared for the examination. Of them, 35,342 passed and 9,816 failed, while the pass percentage was 78.26%.

In Mathematics, 20,043 students appeared for the examination. Of them, 11,423 passed and 8,620 failed, with a pass percentage of 56.99%.

In English, 67,496 students appeared for the examination. Of them, 61,105 passed and 6,391 failed, while the pass percentage was 90.53%.

In the Study of the Holy Quran, 62,965 students appeared for the examination. Of them, 58,058 passed and 4,907 failed, with a pass percentage of 92.21%.

In Biology, 37,719 students appeared for the examination. Of them, 33,107 passed and 4,612 failed, while the pass percentage was 87.77%.

In Urdu, 65,780 students appeared for the examination. Of them, 62,581 passed and 3,199 failed, with a pass percentage of 95.14%.

In Computer Science, 14,098 students appeared for the examination. Of them, 11,236 passed and 2,862 failed, while the pass percentage was 79.70%.
