Peshawar Shooting: Man Killed, Wife Injured as Gunmen Open Fire on Car

Investigators are working to determine the motive behind the attack and identify those responsible.

A man was shot dead while his wife sustained injuries when unidentified armed assailants opened fire on their vehicle near Bajauri Gate, Lady Griffith School, within the jurisdiction of Shah Qabool Police Station in Peshawar.

According to police officials, the couple was traveling in their car when gunmen targeted them, killing the husband on the spot. The injured wife was rushed to the hospital for treatment.

Law enforcement personnel reached the crime scene immediately after receiving reports of the incident. Police stated that an FIR would be registered once the victim’s family arrived and filed a complaint. Investigators are working to determine the motive behind the attack and identify those responsible.

This incident comes just a day after five people were killed in a shooting in Peshawar’s Tehkal area.
